Teaching Moments I Always Want to Remember

The world of teaching (especially preschool children) is one heck of a roller coaster ride with its constant up and downs. There are some things in me that has changed since I started teaching last June. I am now living a routine of home-school-home every weekdays, constantly pigging out and lazing around during weekends, getting panic attacks whenever there is a text or call from a parent, successfully finding excuses to spend money with my beshies during paydays and regretting it whenever I check my account balance. Everything is worth it though and admittedly my life has been more colorful since being a teacher.


The reason is my kids…of course it will always be about them. All 43 of my preschool students have touched my life one way or another and I know my life wouldn’t be the same as it was before.

Forever and a Day

I just finished reading Gayle Forman’s series of Just One Day, Just One Year and Just One Night. I thought the book was amazing and inspired me in a lot of ways. I also related to it multiple times while I was reading it. So in turn instead of doing the usual Book Review and say what I think of the book perhaps I’ll just express the thoughts I’m thinking while and after reading the book. After all I was way more emotionally invested in this book than what I’d care to admit.

Hey you! Yes you! Hello and thank you for visiting? I guess. Ugh I can just imagine my awkward seeping through your monitor screen. Anyway I’m new to this blogging thing. I had a tumblr before but it’s been a while since I last checked in there and I don’t connect with the blogs that I follow there anymore. I needed an outlet  where I can just pour out everything that is inside me without being judged.To write something without the worries of pressure and no one to please but myself.
